Moulton is a village with a population
of around 2,000, in the Borough
of Vale Royal,in the heart of Cheshire. It is a mile from
the next village, Davenham, just
off the A556, Northwich by-pass. The nearest towns are Northwich (4 miles to the north) Middlewich (3 miles south) and Winsford ( 3 miles south west). Moulton is surrounded by farmland. A mile to the west lies the Weaver Navigation, with Vale Royal Abbey on the opposite bank. The village has two churches, a primary school, a large playing field, two pubs, two clubs, a post office, a useful village shop and a village hall. Moulton Parish Council meets monthly on the second Monday of the month in the Village Hall, Main Road, Moulton. The Council consists of 11 members. Contact via the Clerk, Elaine Beech |

The members of the Parish Council
are also Trustees of the Children's Playing Field in Main Road. The Moulton
Children's Playing Field Trust is a registered
charity . Work to enhance the play facilities
for the youngsters should be completed in early March 2008.
Moulton and District Community Association runs the village hall and has a useful web site at www.madca.org.uk giving details of village hall activities and links to local amenities. |

Theft Warning November 2008 - In the last 2/3 weeks there has been a number of thefts from sheds in the Davenham and Moulton areas.
Items stolen were typically petrol strimmers and hedge cutters.
Please be aware of any suspicious activity and ensure that your garage and/or shed is locked with a good quality lock.
